Natalie Ivis is an artist and educator based in Cambridge, MA. Her work pulls from personal narratives to create moments of contemplation out of chaotic environments. Her work was recently exhibited internationally as part of the Today Museum Biennial “To Your Eternity” in Beijing. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Bloomberg, the WSJ, and the New York Times Magazine. A photo essay of her work was recently published in the New York Times Magazine in  “A Trip Into Tornado Alley with America’s Most Obsessive Storm Chaser.” 

She earned a BFA in Photography and a BA in International Studies from the University of South Florida, a Certificate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and an MFA in Photography from Yale University. She taught at Yale University before joining Massachusetts College of Art & Design as a Visiting Assistant Professor.
